Help Us Identify This Marine

 

 

The Photo shown is the birth father of a friend of mine. It is one of 3 pictures his mother left him of his birth father before she died about 10 years ago. The only problem is there was no name on any of the pictures. Between the two of us, we have been submitting the pictures to every possible web site we can think of or come across. One bit of information we DO have is that his father either was or believed to be a MARINE RAIDER during World War II in the Pacific Theater. The uniform shown has been verified to be a Marine uniform of that timeframe. If anyone should happen to recognize this picture, we would appreciate an email.
